Combines a Big Display with a Background Noise Absorber

Automatically or manually reads sound levels ranging from 30 to 130dB in six ranges. A and C selectable frequency weightings.
Specifications: Sampling time updates every 0.5 seconds. Large 3-1/2" digit display with 0.1dB resolution, backlighting and analog bar graph. Background noise absorber mode for machine noise measurements filters ambient noise. Electret condenser microphone provides 1.5dB accuracy. Min./Max. plug analog output and tripod mount. Max. Hold latches maximum value on display. RS-232 interface for capturing data directly on a PC. Dimensions: 10" x 3.1" x 1.5". Weighs 8.5 oz. Power supply: 9V battery.
