What is PCM technology? Simply the safest, most efficient personal cooling system yet developed. Unlike water- and gel-based systems, PCM maintains a body-cooling temperature of 65°F, cool enough to keep you comfortable, yet not so cold as to cause frostbite. PCM bladder inserts require no freezing, work well in humid conditions, can be worn next to your skin (no layering needed), last for hours and completely recharge in about 20 minutes (just place in ice water).
Specifications: Features an easy zippered front, adjustable side and shoulder straps and four removable PCM cooling bladders. Each bladder has divided compartments for improved flexibility when fully charged. Mediumweight (total weight: 5 lbs.) jacket; it comes with four medium-sized bladders and features a flame-resistant Banox® cotton shell. At 100°F, it provides effective body cooling for about 1-3/4 hours. Made in the USA.
