Two Face Shield Styles

An economical choice for protection from radiant heat, these Aluminized Hoods are constructed of aluminized carbon Kevlar®. This material is a blend of semi-carbon and aramid fibers that won’t melt and is made to insulate against high temperatures and to offer excellent resistance to abrasion and molten metal splash.
Specifications: Lightweight Hoods reflect 90% of all radiant heat, which keeps you cool and comfortable in high-temperature environments. Kevlar thread used throughout for extra durability. Hood with Gold Face Shield uses a thin layer of gold to reflect radiant heat while still allowing visible light to pass through. Hood with Clear Face Shield is designed for applications where a high level of reflection isn’t needed. Replacement Face Shields, Replacement Head Gear and Hard Hat Conversion Kit are available.
