OBERON Arc Flash Protective Clothing

High-Quality, Flame-Resistant Materials Keep You Safe on the Job and Comply with NFPA 70EWhether you need garments for limited, infrequent electrical work or heavy use, you’ll find what you need right here. Arc Flash Clothing keeps you protected against rapid energy releases that can cause severe burn injuries. Anyone working within a “Flash Approach Boundary” or “Limited Approach Boundary” of an electrical system of 50V or more needs these protective garments. All hood windows are constructed of Oberon’s ARC-X™ polycarbonate, which includes a scratch-resistant coating on the outside plus an anti-fog coating on the inside to keep your view clear. ARC™ Series is inherently flame-resistant (IFR) fabric that’s up to half the weight of cotton, which means less heat stress. Durable material provides longer product life. You get permanent fire resistance that cannot be washed out. Coats and Coveralls offer fire-resistant zippered closures with Nomex® Velcro safety flaps, Nomex sleeve cuffs and Nomex threads. Select this style if you are going to use garments heavily, with lots of wear and frequent cleaning. FRT Series offers flame-retardant treated (FRT) cotton garments for cost-effective, limited-use protection. Coats have fire-resistant Velcro® closures and adjustable cuffs. Coveralls feature wide pant legs that slide on over your boots. Choose this style if you are going to use and launder garments infrequently. Compliance: Meets ASTM F1506, ANSI Z87.1-2003 and NFPA 70E. Please Specify Size: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL. (Larger sizes are available; call 1-800-356-0783 for details.) |
