Nondestructive Tramex Moisture Meter Encounter Plus measures moisture in wood, plaster, drywall, block, brick, roofing and most other building envelope materials using three ranges of sensitivity. Deeper signal penetration, up to more than 1", also detects elevated moisture through ceramic tile, carpet, vinyl flooring, VCT, floor laminates and other cover materials without puncturing or damaging the test material.
