Choose from Rim or Vertical Rod Exit Devices
Exit Devices perform well in tough environments and under everyday use. Patented mechanisms are made of heavily electroplated, high-grade steel and nonferrous materials that hold up well and resist corrosion.
Rim Exit Devices provide conventional tools for single-swing doors or pairs of doors of metal, wood or composite construction. These devices feature deadlocking pullman latch bolts positively engaging roller strikes. Strikes are metal and sealed with a bonded black powder coat. Latch bolts are ¾”-throw, stainless steel. Choose a Baked Bronze Finish (No. 63740) or a Baked Aluminum Finish (No. 63741).
Select a conventional surface Vertical Rod Exit Device (No. 63742) for any panic exit door where two-point latching is desired, inactive doors of pairs in particular. Device features E-Z SuperGlide linkage with positive action on the deadlocking top pullman bolt, and simultaneous direct pull of the bottom dead bolt. When unlatched, both bolts stay retracted until doors are shut. Surface-mounted top roller strike and pushin bottom strike are made of steel and sealed with a bonded black powder coat. ¾”-throw upper latch bolts and 5/8”-throw lower dead-bolt are stainless steel. Use for 7'H openings, with device at 39-5/16” from floor. Baked aluminum finish.
Outside Trim Lever (No. 63735) works with Rim and Vertical Rod exit devices. Satin chrome finish.
